Job Ready Program (JRP)

JOB READY PROGRAM

What is a job ready program?

The Australia Job Ready Program (JRP) is an employment-based skill assessment program designed to help international student graduates with an Australian qualification demonstrate their job readiness in an Australian workplace before applying for jobs.

PROCESS FOR JRE

Provisional Skill Assessment

The Provisional Skills Assessment (PSA) is the first step of the Job Ready Program. It assesses the eligibility of applicants and examines their qualifications, employment history and other relevant information to determine if they are suitable for the program.

Job ready Workplace Assessment

The Job Ready Workplace Assessment (JRWA) is a key part of the Job Ready Program (JRP). The JRWA combines both self-assessment and workplace assessment components, helping to ensure that all applicants meet the required skill level for their chosen occupation. The JRWA starts with a self-assessment process, which involves completing an online questionnaire designed to evaluate your current experience and knowledge in relation to your chosen occupation.

Job ready workplace assessment

The next step is for you to complete a workplace assessment with one of TRA’s accredited assessors. The assessor will ask you questions about your experience and knowledge relating to your chosen occupation as well as evaluate your on-the-job performance. If successful, you will then receive an official JRP Certificate which confirms that you have met the required skill level for working in Australia

Job Ready Final Assessment

If you have successfully completed steps 1, 2 and 3, you are eligible to apply for the JRFA Work Ready Final Assessment. The Job ready plan is currently undergoing final review and if it is successful, you will receive the results of the plan. These results will help with new visa applications in addition to general immigration applications.
