Automotive Mechanics are skilled at maintaining, testing and repairing petrol engines and the mechanical parts of motor vehicles. To qualify for a positive skills assessment as an automotive mechanic, you’ll need to have obtained Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
