TSS Skills Assessment
The TSS Skills Assessment is an assessment pathway for applicants applying for a Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa. The assessment is conducted by relevant skills assessing authorities. It determines if the applicant has the required skills, experience, and qualifications to work in Australia at the trade level for their nominated occupation.
The assessment is issued by an authorized organization that checks the applicant's qualifications and experience against the relevant training package qualification requirements.
If you apply for a Temporary Skills Shortage (TSS) visa (subclass 482), you must provide evidence of a successful skills assessment. Depending on the occupation, and the country you are coming from, an approved skills assessment may be required before lodging a visa application.
Different categories of TSS skills assessment
The first step is choosing the right administrator. RTOs selected for their competency assessment must be approved by the Australian Trade Recognition Authority (TRA).
In the second step, degrees, certificates of conformity, work experience, etc. You will submit all relevant documents such as Your RTO will provide you with the necessary final documents. The third step is a skills assessment. The examiner who will assess your skills at this stage is a certified professional recognized by TRA for your chosen skill. The last step is to obtain the results of the evaluation. A positive result can be used for visa eligibility applications.
